Scott Nielsen is a seasoned human resources executive with more than 30 years of experience helping companies increase growth through innovative organizational strategies and solutions.

As chief talent officer at Alltech, Nielsen helps ensure strategic alignment of Alltech’s culture and talent programs with the company’s business objectives, utilizing talent analytics and business intelligence to guide talent recruitment, growth, engagement and support services. He focuses on strategy, systems and organizational design, creating practical strategies to improve results.

Nielsen earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Brigham Young University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Purdue University Global, and a master’s degree in in industrial/organizational psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. He is a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and maintains certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Nielsen serves on the CEO Evaluation and Compensation Committee of the Barbershop Harmony Society and in leadership roles within his local religious organization.
