The KEENAN 4th Generation Controller retains all the functions much-loved by farmers, including the graphical bars showing the loaded ingredients and pie charts for an easy visual of the revolution counter. The 4th Generation Controller has improved physical and technical attributes for increased usability and reliability on-farm.
For enhanced feed management, the KEENAN Controller is synced with the InTouch dashboard; allowing farmers to easily measure, monitor and manage feed accuracy and efficiency, herd performance, feed costs, dry matter intake and refusals. The controller gives clear guidance on the loading order and quantity of ingredients to be loaded ensuring an optimum and consistent ration, every time. Each day, InTouch manages the feeding of over 490,000 animals on 2,000 farms across the globe, representing one of the world's largest feed efficiency databases.
The farm management app allows the farmer to control any aspect of feeding from the yard, without having to go into the farm office. Everything can be changed on the go. The changes made on the app, will be synced to the KEENAN Controller which will optimise the mix to produce the best ration. Cows crave consistency and these technologies combine to ensure that happens, day in and day out for optimum herd performance.
Enterprise Ireland recognised the value that these advanced technologies will bring on-farm and have awarded KEENAN an Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena award 2021.
Up to 199 individual diets can be pre-programmed into the controller facilitating the effective preparation of rations and the management of large groups of different animals.
