As the climate system has shifted due to warmer temperatures, new weather patterns have emerged producing serious challenges for all facets of agriculture. Around the world, weather and temperatures no longer follow predictable patterns. 

"Mycotoxin formation by fungi is highly influenced by climatic conditions, such as temperature, precipitation and humidity," explains Dr. Alexandra Weaver, global technical support, Alltech Mycotoxin Management.

Reuters: Rain, early snows delay U.S. harvest in latest blow to farmers

Wet or humid conditions, delays and stress from extreme temperatures can all elevate the risk of mold in grain, said Dr Alexandra Weaver of Alltech Inc, a Kentucky-based feed supplement company. Some types of mold can produce mycotoxins in feedgrains that can sicken livestock, and farmers are forced to sell damaged grain at a steep discount.

As our customer service and sales support admin, you will be responsible for all day to day machine order processing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who relishes the challenge of a busy role, who enjoys dealing with multiple internal & external stakeholders and who is detail oriented. Another key function of this role is to manage month-end reporting, which may require flexibility in working hours.
