Speakers:

Andrew Linscott, Regional Business Manager, Alltech U.K.

Having studied agriculture at Harper Adams University, Andrew started his career managing organic waste recycling operations in England and Scotland. Following that, Andrew moved into a sales role, providing advice and solutions to arable, dairy and beef farmers. Andrew joined Alltech in 2010, forming part of the ruminant nutrition team in the U.K. Focusing on helping the dairy and beef sectors advance natural immunity, production profitability and agri-food sustainability, Andrew improves diet formulations via performance solutions and data-driven analytical services. Andrew's experience in ruminant nutrition and crop science benefits operators of AD plants with valuable advice and solutions designed to improve efficiencies at a microbiological level.

 

Ricky Maylin, Director, ONM Energy

Ricky Maylin is the co-director and optimisation and operational improvement expert at ONM. He started his working life as an anaerobic digestion plant operator, so he knows the industry from the bottom up. Ricky first became a plant manager in 2008, gaining vital operational management experience. He later moved into a commissioning role, through which he predominantly commissioned anaerobic plants in Ireland and Scotland.

Ricky has performed a key role for two national AD operators, where he successfully managed numerous plants concurrently, for both agricultural and food waste. With over 12 years’ experience, there isn’t much Ricky hasn’t seen, giving him a wealth of operational knowledge.
