Alltech is pleased to announce the tour dates for the 2005 Asia-Pacific Lecture Tour (APLT). This year's theme "Create Innovate Elevate" reflects the theme of Alltech's 21st International Feed Industry Symposium and will focus on the topic of Gut Health. The Tour will begin on Friday, November 4th in Colombo, Sri Lanka and conclude in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, November 18th. Speakers on the tour will include:

[ Lexington, KY] - Alltech has once again shown its commitment to furthering science with the formation of the Young Animal Scientist of the Year (YAS) award. Alltech has created the competition through Animal and Dairy Science departments at various universities throughout North America to promote research and talent. The program will provide a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to interact with one of the industry's leading players in the animal feed industry. It will be divided into three phases: university, regional and national level.

?Lexington, KY] - Global animal health company, Alltech, announces the second annual Miss Yea-Sacc?1026 competition. This year's winner will be revealed at the World Dairy Expo on October 4th in Madison, Wisconsin. Miss Yea-Sacc 2005 will receive a $1,000 cash award, the coveted Miss Yea-Sacc blanket and a bag of Yea-Sacc Farm Pak 2X. The contest will judge dairy cows on production criteria such as "Current 305-day Mature Equivalent Milk Pounds" and "Lifetime Milk".

[Lexington, Kentucky] - Global animal health company, Alltech, recently hosted a Branded Meat Summit June 23rd and 24th. More than 80 people attended the meeting designed to provide the latest information on turning a commodity into a valuable brand. Attendees were also treated to dinner from Maverick Ranch, Laura's Lean Beef, and Certified Angus Beef at the Branded Meat Showcase on Thursday night.
