Description
HUBBARD®, an Alltech® company, provides a full range of innovative, research-based animal feed and nutrition products. Our customers include meat, milk and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives. Our Columbus, NE location has immediate openings for full-time 3rd shift General Production. Daily hours are 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Responsibilities
The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service. The equipment will include batching, pelleting, and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant. This position is also called upon to assist in other areas of plant operations as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pelleting and mixing experience
- Committed to work in a safe manner
- Be able to read and follow procedures
- Complete required paperwork
- Operate a forklift
- Good computer and math skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Work in natural climate conditions
- Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift
