We also offer several controlled and privately labeled products.  We are seeking a qualified, energetic, Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in our Mankato, MN regional office, Nicholasville, KY headquarters, or remote work.

<>Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Specialist works within an integrated team, to develop and execute comprehensive B2B demand generation campaigns while nurturing leads across a variety of channels.  

 

Primary Duties (not limited to):

 

  • Create/strategize/support digital programs for the Ridley Block Operations (RBO) and Hubbard brands including SEM, email, retargeting, targeted social advertising, branding campaigns, and promotions to drive sales
  • Create campaign KPIs
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of digital campaigns and funnel progression
  • Manage and maintain CRYSTALYX apps
  • Lead digital marketing projects including the social platform we use to provide content to our dealer customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships and communication with key team members/stakeholders and industry professionals
  • Maintain brand websites for RBO and Hubbard, working with our partners
  • Manage customer facing marketing e-mails
  • Manage the production of twice monthly RBO blogs and once monthly podcasts with our technical and sales teams
  • Work closely with other departments within Alltech® to help bring our business strategies to life
  • Other Marketing support duties as outlined by the marketing management group
<>Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • A self-motivating attitude and desire to tackle new projects and ask questions to understand the business and projects at hand
  • A bachelor’s degree in animal science, marketing, advertising, or related discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Experience in agriculture preferred, passion for the cattle industry is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a superior attention to detail, design experience is a bonus but not required
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to properly prioritize projects and simultaneous deadlines
  • Strong diplomacy skills that demonstrate an ability to build rapport across departments and all levels of an organization
  • A team-focused attitude
  • The ability to adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Curiosity and openness that reflect the aspiration to learn and grow
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and other management software

We also offer several controlled and privately labeled products.  We are currently seeking experienced Assistant Plant Manager candidates for our Montgomery, AL facility.  This first shift position reports to the Plant Manager and will oversee the day-to-day operations of this location.

 

<>Responsibilities

The Assistant Plant Manager will provide daily supervision and leadership to all employees in the production area ensuring policies and procedures are followed.  Primary responsibilities include the following:  manage production scheduling to ensure safety and quality while meeting sequencing and QA guidelines; serve as a safety champion for the facility; support new objectives and initiatives as identified by the company; assist with the hiring of staff and merit increase recommendations; and work with employees regarding training, cross training, coaching, performance assessments and improvement plans.

The qualified applicant will possess a college degree in Business Administration/Agribusiness or equivalent experience, will have 2 or more years of progressive experience in feed/food manufacturing, must have experience managing in a fast-paced production environment, have the ability to make quick, sound decisions, and serve as a safety champion.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Ensure manufacturing parameters are adequately documented.
  • Accurately report production within the batching and ERP (inventory) programs to ensure reliable traceability for Ridley Feed Ingredient’s manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Ensure compliance with required monitoring activities.
  • Monitor and support customer-complaint and non-conformance incidents and investigations.

Working in liaison with the QFS Manager, other responsibilities include the following: 

  • Maintain and implement updates to the Quality and Food Safety program.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety certifications and applicable regulations pertaining to the production, sale, identification and usage of animal food and health products.
  • Assist in conducting internal GMP/food safety audits to ensure compliance with the Quality and Food Safety program and food safety certification(s) the facilities hold,
  • Identifying program/process deficiencies.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are achieved.
  • Assist in developing and delivering quality training.
<>Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma, preferably with 2 years of college at a business or trade school, ideally in the Animal Science field.

  • Previous experience with HACCP and other quality certifications, and experience in root cause investigation and corrective/preventative actions are essential.
  • Familiarity with the feed and/or premix industry is highly desirable.
  • Other requirements include:
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to learn and use various software programs.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
    • Skills in technical writing.
