<>Responsibilities

This position reports to the Plant Manager and key responsibilities are to help oversee all production related activities including production scheduling, quality assurance, safety, customer service, and LEAN manufacturing.

<>Requirements

The qualified applicant will possess a B.S. or Associates degree, knowledge of the feed industry, and experience in a supervisory role for a minimum of 2 years.  Other requirements include solid computer skills, experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment, and experience motivating staff through good communication.

The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service. The equipment will include batching, pelleting and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant. The operator must be knowledgeable in batching, pelleting and packing procedures and properly document the process as required by Quality and Food Safety procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Verify sequencing products for efficiency and regulatory requirements
  • Complete required daily production forms
  • Ensure packaging, labels, samples, and weights are accurate during the process
  • Provide back up to other positions in the plant to cover for absences, vacations, or heavy workload

We currently have an established sales territory available that includes the states of Connecticut, New York, and western Massachusetts; and are seeking qualified candidates to fill the Account Sales Representative, Equine position. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate within the designated sales territory.

This position will work with customers, along with consumers to drive overall growth within the equine, poultry, and pet markets. Sales Representatives are accountable for growth in existing customer base, prospecting new accounts, developing and implementing sales plans and operating their territory within established travel and marketing expenses.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in equine nutrition sales along with a bachelor’s degree specializing in equine science (or equivalent experience). We have an immediate opening for a full-time Inventory Control Analyst at our Mankato, MN Regional Office.  This position will maintain and review the general ledger and inventory modules of the ERP system to ensure accurate cost and quantity inventory information in coordination with operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide AX system support to operations staff for inventory production tolerance errors, inventory corrections, cost adjustments and recalculations
  • Perform inventory analysis for cost variances, research, communicate and coordinate corrections as necessary
  • Perform general accounting functions relating to inventory month end close including account reconciliations with support of Senior Inventory Accountant
  • Review and report on location cycle count documentation and adherence to inventory  policy and procedures
  • Observe cycle counts and wall to wall inventory counts as requested

  • Prepare inventory related audit work papers as requested

<>Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Specialist works within an integrated team, to develop and execute comprehensive B2B demand generation campaigns while nurturing leads across a variety of channels.  

 

Primary Duties (not limited to):

 

  • Create/strategize/support digital programs for the Ridley Block Operations (RBO) and Hubbard brands including SEM, email, retargeting, targeted social advertising, branding campaigns, and promotions to drive sales
  • Create campaign KPIs
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of digital campaigns and funnel progression
  • Manage and maintain CRYSTALYX apps
  • Lead digital marketing projects including the social platform we use to provide content to our dealer customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships and communication with key team members/stakeholders and industry professionals
  • Maintain brand websites for RBO and Hubbard, working with our partners
  • Manage customer facing marketing e-mails
  • Manage the production of twice monthly RBO blogs and once monthly podcasts with our technical and sales teams
  • Work closely with other departments within Alltech® to help bring our business strategies to life
  • Other Marketing support duties as outlined by the marketing management group
<>Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • A self-motivating attitude and desire to tackle new projects and ask questions to understand the business and projects at hand
  • A bachelor’s degree in animal science, marketing, advertising, or related discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Experience in agriculture preferred, passion for the cattle industry is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a superior attention to detail, design experience is a bonus but not required
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to properly prioritize projects and simultaneous deadlines
  • Strong diplomacy skills that demonstrate an ability to build rapport across departments and all levels of an organization
