The 2023 corn crop was challenged by a wide variation of environmental challenges. Drought in the Southwest and western Corn Belt to late-season rainfall in the Ohio Valley and eastern Corn Belt, the weather challenged the crop. Our 2023 U.S. Harvest Analysis collected and analyzed nearly 450 samples to identify regional trends in mycotoxin challenges to dairy cattle from corn silage and corn grain.

KEENAN Ireland Technical Support Co Ordinator

We are looking to recruit a Technical Support Co-ordinator for KEENAN Ireland which will be run as part of Alltech Ireland from January 2024. The position involves technical machine customer support and assistance with the efficient running of the KEENAN Ireland warehouse.  

Location: Alltech Farming Solutions, Borris - there will be requirement for travel to Alltech Ireland team meetings and training. 

  • Troubleshooting customer technical machine issues on the phone and occasionally in person

  • Logging calls/visits onto relevant CRM database

  • Selling spares and taking card payments

  • Assistance with packing customer orders in warehouse

  • Follow up on warranty claims

  • Liaising with service engineers regarding breakdowns/repairs and spares stocks

  • Assisting KEENAN Ireland Service Manager and other team members as required

  • Working with and updating relevant CRM systems and order processing systems

  • A good knowledge of farming and farm machinery is desirable

  • A high level of motivation and enthusiasm is a requirement for the role
