The ideal candidate will be a creative and impactful marketeer with excellent communications skills, a keen interest in business development and a passion for science, agriculture and food.

 

This is a 12-month contract position with permanent contract potential. 

 

You will have a proven track record in supporting and implementing a variety of marketing activities, with a focus on B2B and key account management, and demonstrate excellence in collaboration and project management. The role will see you working with sales and technical colleagues from across Europe to ensure that our marketing activity and messages are consistent with our vision, values and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our dedicated pork and poultry teams in Europe, providing them with marketing support, specifically with key account and partnership pitches and communications.
  • Manage customer engagement and relationships.
  • Carry out market research and segmentation in line with the strategic and commercial goals of Alltech Europe.
  • Digital profiling of our key accounts and key contacts using online browsing activity data.
  • Generate and curate content and copy across relevant communications channels including customer meetings, PowerPoint, HubSpot, websites and social media, etc. 
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are on-brand and delivered in relevant tone of voice. 
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analysing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports. 
  • Constant review and evolution of processes that facilitate the efficient functioning of the pork and poultry teams. 
  • Support:
    • Mapping out the European pork and poultry marketing plan that supports and extends sales initiatives, both short and long-term. 
    • Internal communication for the marketing and sales team, including updates on marketing programs and species news. 
    • Budget development in line with marketing plans. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, agriculture or a related field. 
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in business/marketing/agriculture/science.
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and move projects forward. 
  • Creativity and an innovative approach to business development and B2B marketing. 
  • Passionate about communications - both internally and externally. 
  • An ability to understand, research and present industry trends. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing. 
  • An interest and ability to travel. 
  • Enjoys customer interaction with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player.
