The findings of newly published research from animal health and nutrition company, Alltech, suggest a mannan rich fraction (MRF) from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae can influence the metabolism of bacteria such as E. coli, and, in doing so, increase their sensitivity to antibiotics.
