Milking 460 cows, the McDonnell family decided to change from a KEENAN Klassik 200 (in its 17^th year!) to a MechFiber345SP, having seen it at the National Ploughing Championships the previous year. The main benefits they found were in the areas of; reduction in waste on the pit face of between 70-80%, consistent mix, need for only one machine for feeding, and the overall safety of the machine.
