As a registered dietitian nutritionist at Alltech, Nikki Putnam Badding delivers human nutrition communications to consumers and the agriculture and food industries, with a particular focus on addressing dietary inadequacies through naturally enriched functional foods.

Prior to joining Alltech, Putnam Badding was a dietitian for a large grocery retailer where she served as a nutrition expert and spokesperson for the company. She has also worked on research examining the food environment as a determinant for obesity and community-based behavioral interventions focused on chronic disease prevention.

She received her bachelor’s degree and completed her dietetic internship at Iowa State University, and received her master’s degree in nutritional science from the University of Kentucky. Putnam Badding is an active member of the Kentucky Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Dietitians in Business and Communications practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
