Lindy Gutman is a sales manager and equestrian who started writing and blogging on her journey to the Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover in 2020. Lindy has been active in the animal health industry for more than 20 years, but she has always been interested in the body and how it works.

Lindy balances a full-time job in sales with foxhunting and showing hunters. She participated in the 2021 Retired Racehorse Project Mega Makeover with her first racetrack restart, Talk Show Man. Lindy describes herself as an “amateur’s amateur” and has ridden in some capacity for most of her life. She has made it her mission to show the world that everyone can ride a Thoroughbred if they find the right Thoroughbred for them and surround themselves with the right people.

Lindy earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Towson University (formerly known as Towson State University). She lives in Westminster, Maryland, with her husband, Adam, two hounds, a mini pig and two Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds.
