Ellan Dufour is a dairy research nutritionist with Hubbard. In that role, her responsibilities include coordinating dairy calf research; dairy formulation verification and support; and management and technical support of Hubbard's calf and heifer solutions. Before joining the Hubbard team, Ellan worked as the calf manager of an 1,800-cow dairy in Clearwater, Nebraska.

Ellan earned a bachelor's degree in science from the University of Nebraska, where she also competed on the women’s swimming and diving team. She additionally earned her master's degree in science with a focus on dairy nutrition at the University of Nebraska, where she studied under Dr. Paul Kononoff. Her research interests included total-tract fiber and the protein digestibility of distillers' grains and evaluating the use of DNA as a marker to correct for bacterial crude protein.

In her free time, Ellan enjoys hiking, exploring local breweries and biking.
