Cait Brown attended Iowa State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and animal science. After abandoning plans to pursue a career in equine veterinary medicine, she realized her new dream of working for a globally focused ag-oriented organization, beginning her journey with Alltech in the fall of 2010.

Brown presently serves as Alltech's lifestyle marketing manager, which melds a lifelong passion for all things equine and a keen expertise in communications and consumer-driven marketing. She oversees Alltech's multiple equine offerings, including feeds, supplements and treats, in addition to backyard poultry.

Brown credits her initial passion for agriculture to living on her family’s rural Iowa farm in her youth and feels she also has an affinity for ag inherently as a descendant of an Iowa Master Farmer and several generations of farmers on both sides. 

Brown grew up training dogs, in addition to riding and showing horses in several disciplines. She was proud to carry on a nearly 100-year family tradition of showing Belgian Draft horses in her youth and was later involved with reining and western pleasure horses, but has most recently enjoyed a bit of jumping and dressage with her two OTTB geldings.

Outside of work, Brown's efforts are focused on spending time with family, learning more about dressage, and working with her two very clever Australian shepherds.
