Description

Responsibilities

  • Development and management of Global Alternative Raw Materials/Enzymes Business Strategy in partnership with Alt. Raw Material Program Director and senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership, development, management and promotion of Global Alt. Raw Materials Marketing Strategy ensuring deployment is undertaken at a regional level via regional and country marketing teams
  • Liaison with regional brand/campaign managers to ensure that we deliver marketing campaigns and initiatives that directly impact sales performance and deliver a consistent message to our customers around the world. All activities should enhance our brand value.
  • Planning of strategic marketing activities that consider and respond to both the needs of both regional and local environment and effectively influence positive perception and engagement
  • Ownership and management of the communication of brand values, brand positioning and brand strategy to both our internal and external audiences. Communications should extend across the whole food chain – from the farm to the processor, and retailers to government representatives
  • Act as a bridge and work alongside individuals from multiple disciplines such as corporate marketing, operations, regulatory, sales and research to deliver strategic plans and initiatives that achieve sales targets
  • Represent Alltech and the Global Alt. Raw Materials with relevant external third parties
  • Drive change and innovation from both a marketing and sales perspective
  • Development of test marketing activity to guide future opinion and inform decision making process
  • Spot opportunities in the wider market that will accelerate growth
  • Contribute to Alltech product development initiatives
  • Liaison with Corporate marketing and external agency relationships (Design / PR / Research)
  • Liaison with key media and external influencers to support brand positioning
  • Ownership, development, ongoing management and reporting of the Global Alt. Raw Materials Budget to key senior stakeholders
  • Utilize appropriate metrics to report on key initiatives where relevant
  • Significant international travel

Requirements

Over 5+ years of well-rounded marketing and business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion - as well as experience in a leadership role.
