Description
HUBBARD, an Alltech company, provides a full range of innovative, research-based animal feed and nutrition products. Our customers include meat, milk and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives. Our Huron, SD location has immediate openings for full-time 2nd shift General Production positions. This shift works Monday – Friday, starts at 3:00 p.m., and typically runs 8 – 12 hours depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
This full-time employee will be trained in several areas of plant operation, including loading/unloading trucks and bagging. This position is also called upon to assist in other areas of plant operations as needed.
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to read and follow procedures
- Complete required paperwork
- Good computer and math skills
Requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry at least 55 lbs
- Work in natural climate conditions
- Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift
Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
