We have immediate openings for full-time 2nd and 3rd shift Feed Mill Operators at our plant in Dyersville, IA.
Responsibilities
The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service. The equipment will include batching, pelleting, and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verify sequencing products for efficiency and regulatory requirements
- Complete required daily production forms
- Ensure packaging, labels, samples, and weights are accurate during the process
- Provide back up to other positions in the plant to cover for absences, vacations, or heavy workload
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to read and follow procedures
- Complete required paperwork
- Good computer and math skills
- Forklift and feed mill experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry at least 55 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures
- Climb ladders and be physically active throughout the shift
Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
