Alltech Alexandria, Ontario was established in 1999. Housing three spray driers, this food-grade facility is capable of manufacturing the full range of Bioplex Trace Minerals with a capacity reaching 20,000 tons per year, making it one of the largest organic minerals facilities in the world.

Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Direct manufacturing process support
- Complete productivity improvements as required.
- Service, maintain, repair, install and test equipment in accordance to current machine specifications
- Provide high level mechanical/technical support to production equipment and interface with other technical teams
- Interface with suppliers and contractors on a technical level when required for the purpose of troubleshooting and debug
- Perform PM inspections as required.
- Follow Maintenance Manager direction and task prioritization.
- Complete Repairs and rebuilds to production machinery
- Fabricate as required for continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Holder of Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic & Millwright Certificate
- Holder of a Canadian Passport with the ability to travel to USA
- Ability to operate a lathe & milling machine
- Ability to weld mig, tig, and stick
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Fast paced environment
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- Environment - dusty, noisy, hot, odors, at heights
- On-Call rotation schedule for after hours and weekends. Normal shift is M-F days.
