Our customers include meat, milk and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives.  We are currently accepting applications for a Beef Nutritionist; this position will service areas in Montana and northern Wyoming.

Responsibilities

As a Beef Nutritionist, you will provide beef technical support nationally and for specifically assigned areas in Montana and northern Wyoming.  Duties focus on producer and dealer support and satisfaction, including training, authoring support materials, feeder meetings, customer calls, ration formulation and product formulation.   Other duties include supporting research and development activities necessary for maintenance and growth of the Hubbard beef product line.   This position is a member of our Beef Nutrition Services team and plays an active role in determining our beef business goals both regionally and nationally.

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have an MS or PhD in Ruminant Nutrition or related Animal Science degree, 3 - 5 years practical experience working directly with beef producers as well as experience with field research and the development of support materials.  In addition, the candidate will possess excellent analytical ability, written and oral communication skills and be comfortable in both training and public speaking.  Our nutrition department functions as a team and members must be able to effectively communicate with other team members , our sales force, and dealers.  The ability to manage multiple projects is essential.  Moderate travel is required.
