Why Should I Attend?

Why not? Where else will you find an open, interactive atmosphere where business people, farmers, technology gurus, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, journalists, government officials, and food and feed industry experts mingle and exchange ideas? Only at the Alltech Annual International Symposium.

"Why should you attend? I don’t believe it is a question of why you should attend: it is why you must attend! Last year’s attendees wouldn’t miss it. They are taking their seat at the table. Are you?"

Dr. T. Pearse Lyons, President and Founder of Alltech

What will I find?

To mark the 30th year of the Alltech Annual Symposium we will host a different format with more in-depth discussion groups covering a very focused set of topics. It will be an engaging experience and an interactive forum to discuss and consider the biggest challenges and opportunities in agriculture today. With agriculture being recognized as the new horizon, and with the shortages of food, we ask, what can we do to address it?

Where will it be held?

Lexington, Kentucky, the heart of the Bluegrass, and the home of horses, bourbon, and Alltech. Plan a visit to the world’s finest algae facility, our award-winning distillery, and Alltech’s global headquarters and state-of-the-art research facilities. Discover how we are planning beyond our aqua center to now provide live fish in different areas of Kentucky to create employment opportunities.

Plan to stay an extra couple of days. Plan to experience Kentucky. Perhaps visit the University of Kentucky and learn what we are doing in the areas of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

Plan to come with an open mind and you will go home even more curious.
