There is no sustainability without education

[Ouanaminthe, Haiti] We are building a new school that will include a science lab, computer lab and other such amenities that children should be afforded in order to learn. Furthermore, we will also build an infirmary to tend to the health needs of the children and their families. These two elements – education and health – help form the foundation needed to sustain a strong community. Alltech, however, is already active at the Centre Educatif l'Union des Coeurs, an elementary school in Ouanaminthe. We have provided school supplies and materials and soccer balls for each student as well as new chairs and tables for the school. This is in addition to the music program supported by Alltech that has developed the Alltech Haitian Harmony children’s choir.
