This year's lecture tour will focus on 'Feeding the Gene for Performance and Profitability' and will visit 39 countries throughout Europe and Africa/Middle East.? [Lexington, Kentucky] -- More than 40 nutritionists, distillers, feed mill managers, journalists, and production managers gathered at Alltech on October 23 and 24 to discuss the ever-increasing role that dried distillers' grains with solubles (DDGS) will play in animal agriculture.? Between current technology limitations and President George W. Bush's "30 in 30" mandate, which challenges the United States to provide 30% of its fuels through biofuels by 2030, grains to feed our animals will be in higher demand.

[Lexington, Kentucky] -- Alltech, in conjunction with the University of Kentucky, has published the first annual report of the Alltech-University of Kentucky Nutrition Research Alliance at Coldstream Research Farm.? This partnership, formed in 2004, has resulted in one Ph.D. dissertation, four scientific journal articles, nine scientific posters, and 25 scientific abstracts in its first full year of operation.
