Alltech's Kentucky Ale, Kentucky Light, Dippin' Dots ice cream, and a line of Irish dancers drew large crowds each day to Alltech's booth at the IFT Food Expo 2004, July 13-16 in Las Vegas, NV. In just three afternoons, the Alltech staff distributed more than 5,000 glasses of beer. The company's booth theme for this year was "Re-imagining the food industry".
IFT participants were asked to imagine:
Alltech, a leading animal feed supplement supplier, was granted USD$10,000 by the Taiwanese Government to host a conference on organic selenium (Sel-Plex?). The meeting, which took place on Tuesday 29 June 2004, focused on the advantages of selenium enriched foods for human health. Delegates were invited to sample some foods fortified with Sel-Plex.

Alltech Canada was delighted to host the open house day of its newly renovated facilities in Guelph on July 7, 2004. The event was formally launched by the Mayor of Guelph, Kate Quarrie and by Alltech's owner and President, Dr. Pearse Lyons. Guests were invited to a reception and a tour of the facilities. The plant was purchased in 2002 and Alltech undertook extensive renovations resulting in 10,000 square feet of warehouse space and 4,000 square feet of office space.
