[Dublin, IRELAND] - After hosting the Poultry Solutions Seminar in Ireland recently, animal feed and nutrition company Alltech presented its Pig and Ruminant Solutions Seminars in Hannover, Germany on Monday, November 15th. With discussions lead by ten dairy and pig veterinarians, nutritionists and scientific researchers, attendees were given practical insights into their respective sectors and solutions to some of the challenges their industries face today.

[Lexington, KENTUCKY] - Alltech's Global Dairy and Beef 500 conference came to a close on November 4. The four-day meeting provided more than 400 beef and dairy producers from 29 countries with solutions that they will take home and execute.

Taking place at the Copthorne Hotel, Wurzburger Strasse, D-30880 Hannover, in Germany on November 15th, each seminar will be themed "Turning Challenges into Opportunities".

[Dublin, IRELAND] - 72% of leading nutritionists, veterinarians and other industry experts believe that R&D in the poultry industry is vital for progress in the current market. In addition 65% stated that the EU cage ban to improve animal welfare may actually increase the incidence of salmonella levels in laying hens. A further 45% believe that meat and bone meal may be reintroduced back into poultry diets.
