[Dublin, IRELAND] - Global animal health and nutrition company Alltech, in association with Stamford Endowed Schools and the British Equestrian Federation, has announced details of a new U.K. equestrian art competition for school children. The 'Alltech Paint the Horse Competition', which is open to pupils aged from 6-18, aims to support Team GBR's attendance at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games taking place in Kentucky in 2010.

The eight winners were chosen from an applicant pool of more than 1,800 entrants globally, the highest number ever. 2009 marked the first time a graduate level prize was awarded, which allowed those at all levels of university study to compete.
