LEXINGTON, Ky. - For the first time since its founding in 1880, the Kentucky Distillers' Association is expanding its membership rolls to invite craft distilleries, with Lexington-based Alltech being the first to join today. Alltech, a global leader in the animal health and nutrition industry, has established itself as an innovator in Kentucky's growing craft distillery business with brands including Pearse Lyons Reserve malt whiskey and the unique Bluegrass Sundown, a Bourbon-infused coffee beverage.

[Lexington, KY] - Fresh off being on tap as the Official Beer of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, Alltech's Kentucky Ale family is expecting an unprecedented sales spike with a recent launch in China as well as distribution agreements inked for the states of Indiana and Massachusetts. In cheers to this announcement, the company plans to dramatically increase the capacity of its downtown Lexington brewing and distilling facility and has also purchased office space in the historic Butchertown neighborhood to strengthen its operations in Louisville, Kentucky.

[Lexington, KY] - Dr. Pearse Lyons was recognized with several awards from the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce at their 30th Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on Tuesday, January 25. The president and founder of Alltech was named to the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame and received a Key to the City of Nicholasville as well as an appreciation award from Jessamine County Judge Executive Neal Cassity.
