Alltech is proud to announce that it is taking its whiskey business overseas to Ireland, birthplace of whiskey and of president and founder of Alltech, Dr. Pearse Lyons. The Vendome whiskey stills, used by Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Company and made in Louisville, Kentucky, were shipped over on the 22nd of August to become part of the fifth whiskey distillery in Ireland.

[Lexington, KY] – Is there any relief in sight? The United States Department of Agriculture recently added another 200 drought stricken counties to the list of disaster areas. With continued triple-digit temperatures and rain drops few and far between in many areas, the USDA has now designated more than half of all counties in the United States drought emergency management regions.
