Alltech Lectures to Discuss Explorations in Algae, Genetics and Branding in Lexington

[LEXINGTON, Ky.] – Alltech will urge Kentuckians to “stay curious” and embrace innovation during its 28th Annual North America Lecture Tour stop at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington on Feb. 25.  The program, free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Regency Ballroom from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. and lunch featuring Lyons Farm™ products to follow the presentations.

Traveling across North America from Ontario, Canada, to Visalia, Calif., expert speakers on the annual tour deliver the latest developments in agriculture and nutrition science. The tour, held from Feb. 12-March 1, is visiting 23 cities and is expected to reach more than 2,500 attendees across the continent. The program’s three presentations will address:

  • Opportunities in algae application
  • Nutrition’s impact at the genetic level
  • Measures to reduce the risks of mycotoxins in crops
  • Branding as a key element of profitability

The discussions will encourage attendees to stretch beyond conventional practices and explore how the latest technological developments can propel the agriculture industry forward.
