Key Appointments in Alltech due to Increased Growth in the European Market

[Lexington, KY] - As the demand increases for natural solutions in the animal feed industry, the company has continued to expand its team in order to ensure fast, efficient and excellent service to its customers.

Over the past few months, Alltech has made the following key appointments in the European sector:

Sylvie Andrieu has joined Alltech as the Ruminant Technical Manager for Europe. She graduated with a degree in agronomic engineering, specialising in animal production from the Institut National Agronomique Paris - Grignon, France. Since then, Sylvie has pursued a career in the animal feed industry. She joins Alltech from Trouw Nutrition where she obtained many years of experience in ruminant nutrition. Sylvie will be responsible for delivering customer and technical support to Alltech's European ruminant accounts. She will also work closely with universities and research centers to coordinate ruminant trials. Sylvie will be based out of Alltech's office in Nantes, France.

Lode Nollet is Alltech's new Poultry Technical Manager for Europe. Lode graduated from the University of Gent, Belgium, initially with a degree in agricultural engineering and later with a Ph.D. in applied biological sciences. His thesis focused on microbial ecology of the rumen and gastro-intestinal tract. Lode has spent many years in a commercial additive and premix company specifically looking after poultry nutrition. Lode will be based out of Belgium; however, his responsibilities will cover all of Europe. He will be involved in coordinating research trials and giving customer and technical support to Alltech's poultry accounts.

Tomas Karalis joined Alltech Lithuania as Technical Sales Manager for the region. He obtained his M.D. from the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy in 1999. He has gained extensive experience with various companies including Naflita, Laboveta and Litagra over the past six years. His primary responsibility will involve providing sales and technical support to customers in Lithuania.

Araik Petrosyan Babkenovich joined Alltech Russia in December 2004 as Sales Manager. Babkenovich received his degree in zoo engineering from Kostoma Agriculture University and later went on to complete a Ph.D. at the All Russian Poultry Institute. Babkenovich has extensive experience in the animal feed industry, having previously worked for Spectar and Ashug in Russia. He will be responsible for Leningrad, Kostoma, Tulla and Samara in Russia.

Elena Vasilyeva also joins as a new Sales Manager in Alltech Russia. Vasilyeva has extensive experience in the feed industry, having previously worked for a pet food and a premix company. Vailyeva graduated from Moscow State University of Applied Biotechnology as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.

Vâju Stefan has been appointed to the position of Sales Manager in Alltech Romania. Stefan graduated from the University of Agriculture Science and Veterinary Medicine in Romania as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and has worked in the Department of Reproduction since then. He will be responsible for 16 regions within Romania.

Bozhil Peev has been appointed to the position of Sales Manager in Alltech Bulgaria. Peev will be responsible for further developing Alltech's business in Bulgaria. He graduated from Trakian University in Bulgaria with a masters of science in veterinary medicine.

Borislav Maksimovic has joined Alltech Serbia as Sales Manager. Maksimovic will develop Alltech's growing share in the Serbian market. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Belgrade. Maksimovic has extensive experience in the animal feed industry, particularly in ruminant nutrition.
