Alltech France brings Irish ambience to SPACE agricultural fair in Rennes
France's largest annual animal nutrition fair, SPACE, welcomed 110,650 visitors to Rennes this year, many of whom made a stop at the Alltech stand over the course of the four day event. Alltech President, Dr Lyons, and Aidan Connolly, Vice President Europe, joined Alltech staff from several European offices, reflecting the significant increase in foreign visitors to this event in recent years. While the majority of attendees were French, visitors from over 100 different countries also attended during 14-17 September.
The exhibition was used to launch a dairy producer-focused campaign for Sil-All? in the French market, with a helping hand from Alltech's European Sil-All champion, Matthew Smith. Attention was drawn to the latest definitive EU approval won by Yea-Sacc?1026. Alltech's organic mineral range, Bioplex?, and organic selenium, Sel-Plex?, were also strongly promoted on the stand.
SPACE is held in the heart of Brittany, which shares its Celtic heritage with Ireland. So it was no surprise that Alltech's traditional Irish Happy Hour proved to be popular once again, with traditional music, Guinness, and our own Kentucky Ale adding to the atmosphere. The prize draw for an Irish gift hamper encouraged guests to come and enjoy some Celtic-style hospitality.
