A number of global studies conducted by Alltech has examined the improvements to the egg fatty acid composition from feeding layer hens a diet containing Schizochytrium microalgae (AII-G-Rich, Alltech). These studies were carried out to demonstrate the value of improving the DHA-content in the eggs to the animal, farmer, retailer, consumer and environment.
