Dr. Pearse Lyons
Dr. T. Pearse Lyons is the founder and president of Alltech, a global animal health company that employs more than 1,900 people and has a presence in 120 countries around the world. Dr. Lyons was recognized as one of the top 15 Irish-American life scientists of the year by Biolink USA-Ireland. He has authored more than 20 books and numerous research papers in scientific journals.
Dr. Karl Dawson
Dr. Dawson is currently serving as the Director of Worldwide Research for Alltech and directs research activities at our Biosciences centers. He is a Professor of Nutritional Microbiology and has served as director of the Nutritional Microbiology laboratory in the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of Kentucky. His research has focused on strategies for improving animal performance and health by altering microbial activities in the gastrointestinal tract.
Dr. James Pierce
Dr. Pierce joined Alltech as a research scientist in 1999. Since then he has published over 100 abstracts and 12 journal articles. In 2007, he was appointed adjunct professor in the department of animal and food sciences at the University of Kentucky. His duties also include management of the Alltech-University of Kentucky Nutrition Research Alliance located on the University of Kentucky’ Coldstream Research Campus.
Dr. Mark Lyons
Dr. Mark Lyons is currently International Project Director for Alltech and works on new business ventures and future product and process development for Alltech. In 2006 he embarked on a project managing the design and construction of the world’s largest yeast production facility in Brazil, which is now a fully operational plant.
Dr. Paulo Rigolin
Dr. Paulo Rigolin serves as the SSF® and VegPro® Global Product Champion, covering Latin America, Asia, United States, and Europe. He received his veterinary degree in 1998 (P. Prudente-Brazil), and specialized in Marketing in 2000 (FGV-São Paulo). He concluded his MBA in 2006 (FGV-Londrina).
Dr. Juan Tricarico
Dr. Juan Tricarico currently serves as Alltech’s Research Manager for Ruminant Nutrition and has been responsible for establishing and managing the company’s ruminal physiology laboratory in Brookings, South Dakota, USA.
