<p>Over 70 poultry nutritionists and industry professionals are expected to attend Alltech’s Poultry Nutrition Roundtable in Salvador, Brazil taking place ahead of the World Poultry Congress, <strong>August 5-9</strong>.&nbsp; The roundtable entitled, <strong>'From Good to Great</strong>’ will focus on tapping into the power of nutrition to close the gap between genetic potential and actual performance.</p>
<p>The exciting line up of speakers includes Dr. Gonzalo Mateos, Professor of Animal Nutrition at the Technical University of Madrid, Dr. Fernando Rutz, Poultry Technical Manager, Alltech Brazil, Dr. Peter Ferket, Professor of nutrition at North Carolina State University and Dr. Mueez Ahmad, Professional Services Veterinarian, USA. The speakers will cover topics such as broiler and breeder nutrition, early nutrition and intestinal health. Attendees will be able to enjoy the meeting in the luxurious surroundings of the 5-star Iberostar Praia do Forte Resort just outside Salvador.</p>
<p>Aidan Connolly, Vice President, Corporate Accounts, Alltech, described the meeting as an opportunity for key industry players to come together to “rethink, restart and reinvent poultry nutrition”.</p>
