Throughout the month of September, Alltech will look to Kentucky’s kids to create an identity for the new Alltech National Horse Show mascot. Kids can enter the contest by filling out a coloring sheet and providing the equine mascot with a name and background story. Entries will be judged for originality, creativity and an awareness of the role horses play in Kentucky’s heritage.
Three winners will be featured in an October edition of the Lexington Herald-Leader and receive a prize package for their families to attend the Alltech National Horse Show. The coloring sheet, which also serves as an entry form for the contest, will run in select issues of the Lexington Herald-Leader throughout September and is available at www.AlltechNationalHorseShow.com/mascot or www.Kentucky.com.
The deadline to enter is Oct. 4.
