				<p><strong>Prof. Roselina Angel: Department of Animal and Avian Sciences, University of Maryland, USA</strong></p>
				<p>Prof. Roselina Angel holds an MSc in animal nutrition and a PhD in poultry nutrition from Iowa State University, USA. In 1998 she became assistant professor in the Department of Animal and Avian Sciences, a position which she held until 2004, when she was appointed associate professor in the department. Her research lab currently focuses on a broad range of tools for maximising nutrient availability from diets, with the goal of improving production efficiency while reducing cost and environmental impact. Prof. Angel has also published 42 papers in refereed journals, 42 abstracts for presentations at national meetings, 43 conference proceedings internationally and five book chapters.</p>

				<p><strong>Dr. Marcel Boereboom: Poultry Health Department, Royal Dutch Society for Veterinary Medicine, The Netherlands</strong></p>
				<p>Dr. Marcel Boereboom graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 1994. In 1997 he entered into the partnership of “Poultry Practice De Achterhoek” in Ruurlo, which is specialised in poultry health care. Within the poultry industry they have a broad network and serve all market segments (broilers, laying hens, parent stock, turkeys, ducks etc.). Dr. Boereboom is chairman of the Poultry Health Department of The Royal Dutch Society for Veterinary Medicine.</p>

				<p><strong>Prof. Frank Pasmans: Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University, Belgium</strong></p>
				<p>Prof. Frank Pasmans received his degree as a veterinary surgeon in 1998 and his PhD in 2002 from Ghent University. Currently, he is director of the laboratory of veterinary bacteriology and mycology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University. Since 2000, he has been involved in several research projects regarding bacterial infections in poultry: Salmonella infections, colibacillosis and Campylobacter infections. For Campylobacter, his main research focus is on host pathogen interactions and developing control measures during primary production.</p>

				<p><strong>Prof. David A. Roland: Department of Poultry Science, Auburn University, Alabama, USA</strong></p>
				<p>Prof. David A. Roland, Sr. received his BSc in agriculture and his PhD from the University of Georgia, after which he was employed as an assistant professor at the University of Florida. In 1976 he joined the department of Poultry Science at Auburn University where he taught undergraduate and graduate nutrition. Dr. Roland’s early research centred on calcium, vitamin D, egg shell quality and phytase. His recent focus is on amino acids and energy. He has presented, authored or co-authored over 1,631 papers including 199 referred journal articles and 17 books or book chapters.</p>

				<p><strong>Prof. Stephen R. Collett: Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center, University of Georgia, Georgia, USA</strong></p>
				<p>Prof. Stephen Collett is a clinical associate professor at the Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center at the University of Georgia. He is responsible for teaching clinical medicine in the masters in avian medicine programme and for problem solving in the state of Georgia’s poultry industry. After ten years in private practice he received his master’s degree in veterinary medicine, specialising in poultry, from the University of Pretoria. He gained many years of industry experience as head veterinarian with Rainbow Chicken Farms in South Africa and as director of Alltech Inc., North American Poultry Division before joining the UGA in 2004.</p>
