[Dublin, IRELAND] – With the world’s largest poultry producers filing for bankruptcy protection, others reducing production, and some changing top management, there can be no mistake the poultry industry faces a crisis. However, out of crisis comes opportunity. Poultry leaders will gather in Lexington, Kentucky May 17-19, 2009 at Alltech’s Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium to discuss the latest technologies designed to improve profitability and build a sustainable business in the new global economy.
Under the theme of “The Sustainability Principle,” Alltech’s 25th Symposium will focus on sustainability for agriculture, business, and the environment. Attendees will discuss ways to improve feed conversion rates, the importance of proper nutrition in the first seven days, and the how improved breeder performance can improve the bottom line.
