For over 27 years, Alltech has provided a forum for sharing information and discussing industry issues at Alltech’s International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium. Industry professionals from all over the world are invited to partake in this esteemed event to learn about the latest industry technologies, their applications and implications.
Alltech’s 2011 International Symposium entitled "The Game Changers" attracted record numbers with more than 2,000 attendees from 72 countries and 46 U.S. states. The symposium addressed the mounting population challenges that our industry faces that require us to seek new technologies, innovative solutions, and insightful leadership.
Least-cost ration formulation is an old game strategy that cannot achieve optimal animal health and nutrition. Today, we must identify how to program nutrition for precision performance. We must generate sustainable profitability and develop innovative practices that allow us to use new raw materials, add value to conventional agricultural products, and all in a manner that maintains the resources of the planet for future generations of farmers and the projected 9 billion inhabitants.
For the 27th year, people from around the world joined together to share ideas. For more highlights from Alltech's 27th Symposium go to Innovations, our science and agriculture blog, and the 2011 Alltech Symposium page.
Join us in 2012 for the 28th Alltech International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium, which will be held in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
