Norman galloped into Georgia and thought it was an amazingly beautiful country! After cantering around on the Caucasus Mountains for a few hours he stopped by the Black Sea coast and couldn’t believe how wonderfully golden the sea looked when the sun shimmered down on it. Norman couldn’t resist and he had to leap in for a quick swim!
Norman had heard that Georgia is an ancient country with over 3000 years of history and he couldn’t wait to hear people speaking the language as it is over 2000 years old and has a unique alphabet! He decided that during his visit he must find someone to teach him how to write his name in this poetic language, with that in mind it was time for him to race over to visit Savameti, Dila and Kumisi poultry farms.
Norman talks with the poultry farmers of Georgia
Norman loves to learn and as agriculture is very important to him he was pleased to know of its importance in Georgian tradition. The most developed species in this country are poultry, dairy and beef. A lot of the Georgian people are involved on-farm in one way or another. Norman discussed with the poultry farmers about how successful their farms are and most importantly how their chickens are doing! The farmers couldn’t stop talking about the positive experience they had using Mycosorb™, Bio-Mos™ and Allzymes™ with their broilers and layers. Norman was so happy to hear that Alltech had been able to help out his friends. With this Norman wished them all goodbye and said that he would hope to see them in France for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy.
As Norman trotted off to his next destination he remembered that he had learned that the Georgians are also very keen on growing yummy healthy crops like grapes, grains, sugar beet, sunflower and potatoes. With a hungry tummy Norman stopped and bought some delicious grapes to munch on during his journey.
