As part of the Alltech Gathering, Alltech will host a LIFEFORCE Equine Digestive Health Seminar in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 10th August, which coincides with the RDS Dublin Horse Show. The speaker line-up boasts an impressive who’s-who in the area of equine nutrition, with a particular emphasis on gut health and function.
Dr. Helen Warren from Alltech will chair the seminar and the speaker panel will include; Dr. Stephen Duren from Performance Horse Nutrition in the USA who will talk in depth about rationing for gut health, Dr. Dave Davies from Silage Solutions who will speak about the nutritive value of different forage options for horses, Prof. Pat Harris from WALTHAM® who will speak about dietary management of insulin resistance in horses, Prof. Johanna Fink-Gremmels from Utrecht University who will discuss the implications of mycotoxins on gut health and Chris Miller from Gain Feeds who will speak about the commercial implementation of Alltech technologies in horse feed.
Tickets are €50 and include lunch following the seminar plus entry and grandstand tickets to the ‘Puissance’ at the Dublin Horse Show that afternoon. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 90 people and with a large contingent expected from around Europe, early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
