The Breault family owns one of the top dairy operations in Quebec and places a large amount of importance on the quality of forage that they feed their livestock.
“Since using Alltech's dairy solutions and programs, we quickly noticed fermentation was more uniform in the silage bunkers and there was a reduction in the heating of our TMRs during the summer. Previously, it was possible to observe the different layers of fermentation color that were affecting the health and performance of our herd.”
The Breault family noted that upon including Alltech’s solutions in their ration that they have been able to inhibit mold growth in the bunkers and maximize dry matter intake during the summer.
Paying special attention to the fermentation of their silage, and the impact it has on their herd and production, this family works diligently to optimize milk production in their herd.
