Carl Chaney Interview

Carl Chaney of Chaney's Dairy Barn in Bowling Green, Kentucky, discusses challenges faced by dairy farmers

Chaney’s farm has been in the family since 1880 and became a dairy farm in 1940 when James Chaney Sr. purchased the first two registered Jersey cows. The Chaney family farm, like many others, diversified into the ice-cream business and hence, Chaney’s Dairy Barn was born.

Carl Chaney spoke to us today at Global 500 about how rising costs and declining commodity prices are affecting today's dairy business.
