Carl Chaney of Chaney's Dairy Barn in Bowling Green, Kentucky, discusses challenges faced by dairy farmers

Chaney’s farm has been in the family since 1880 and became a dairy farm in 1940 when James Chaney Sr. purchased the first two registered Jersey cows. The Chaney family farm, like many others, diversified into the ice-cream business and hence, Chaney’s Dairy Barn was born.
