When a problem arises on the farm, there is a good chance that someone in the world has already faced that same challenge. With the world becoming more and more global, the opportunity for farmers to share and learn from one another has grown immensely. When a disease hits animal production in one country, they can often look to another country to see how they overcome that challenge. Many countries are attempting to model their production after other countries with successful methods.
Often those that share information gain as much, if not more, than those they are sharing with. Businesses, universities and the internet have all played major roles in pushing the increased communication between farmers.
To help connect farmers with other farmers and share success stories from around the world, Alltech created the Farmer Stories Map. Here you can listen to farmers from across the globe, and see how they are addressing today’s biggest obstacles. For over 30 years, Alltech has been expanding and reaching out to farmers, growing its global presence to 128 countries. Each of those countries is filled with farmers that have their own story to tell.
