Chile was next on Norman's trot list Norman meets with the Alltech Chile team

Chile was next on Norman's trot list. Unbelievably thin and unreasonably long, Chile stretches from the belly of South America to its foot, reaching from the driest desert on earth to the vast southern glacial fields. Norman was looking forward to experiencing the diverse landscape which stretches over 4,300km, filled with valleys, volcanoes, ancient forests, clear rivers, massive glaciers and fjords. Norman took this opportunity to trek the Andes. When he reached the top he was welcomed by a full 360 degree view of Chile at its finest. On his way back down the mountain he wondered if he would come across anywhere similar to Chile on his global trot.

Later that evening Norman visited the beautiful city of Santiago de Chile. Norman arrived in Santiago to celebrate the Alltech Chile 20th anniversary, enjoying an entertaining soirée within the company of distinguished guests; the 14 members of the Alltech Chile team, in addition to journalists, advisors, clients and Alltech friends, attended the party.

The evening was full of surprises! During dinner, Francisco Valdés, General Manager for Alltech Chile, presented Fabiola Troncoso and Manuel Lizama a with a token of appreciation for their 10 years of work and commitment to Alltech. Likewise, Guilherme Minozzo, Vice President for Latin America, congratulated the team for their 20 years of life, with particular reference to Mario Roman for his contribution as founder of Alltech’s affiliate in Chile.

2014 is certainly a special year for Alltech Chile. Norman was delighted that Alltech has been in operation within Chile for the past twenty years. He had made some great friends within the company and hoped to see them at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. Norman left Chile with a happy heart and looked forward to continuing his global journey. Next stop New Zealand!
