It can be hard sometimes to balance work and family. If you happen to be a dairy farmer, finding that balance can be especially tough. Tom Crave of Crave Brothers Farm and Farmstead Cheese in Waterloo, Wis., told us how they get everything done on the farm and make sure that they still have time for their families. It all comes down to making a schedule and sticking to it.

Each brother focuses on one or two specific parts of the operation, which certainly helps make things run more efficiently. Tom is in charge of crop production and maintenance.  Mark manages the herd and employees on the farm. Charles handles the bookkeeping and feeding. George manages the cheese factory, which was added 10 years ago.

In this brief video, Tom explains how he and his brothers manage their workload and why they decided to branch out into cheese-making. Find out more about Crave Brother's Farm and their cheese at cravecheese.com.
