Alltech's Latin American Lecture Tour began yesterday in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From April 4 through 8, the renowned Alltech Tour will visit Latin America's major cities: Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Lima, Quito, Medellin, Valencia, Guatemala, San Jose de Costa Rica, Valinhos (Campinas) and Campo Grande.
The tour theme, "Feeding the World - How to feed a 9.3 billion population in 2050" drew the audience's attention to an emerging problem. At the first stop, more than 150 Argentine guests listened to Dr. Kate Jacques talk about people, animals and diseases and how to face the challenges of an overcrowded planet. In addition, Dr. Karl Dawson gave a great insight into new strategies to feed the world such as Programmed Nutrition. Dr. Pearse Lyons showcased the Next Leap Forward: A World Vision of 2050.
