Norman’s next stop on his global trot was Slovakia, home to the High Tatras and its luscious valleys. Norman understood that Slovakia was famous for its Hucul pony or small horse originally from the Carpathian Mountains. The Hucul is a heavy build and possess great endurance and hardiness, receiving its name from the Hutsul people.

Norman’s next stop on his global trot was Bosnia and Herzegovina, a heart shaped land that lies in the center of Southeast Europe. The view as Norman galloped over the hills was of beautiful crystal clear twisting rivers and lush, green countryside. All of the best tourist attractions here revolve around nature, with several beautiful places to hike, walk, bike, or fish!

Next on Norman’s list was Slovenia, the only country in Europe that combines the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian Plain and the Karst landscape. Norman was blown away by the ever changing environment. You can have one eye on the sea, then look in the other direction and be surrounded by high mountains. As Norman made his way into the forests, he could see the green plains below him. From upland meadows his view stretched into the river gorges. The proximity of opposites and contrasts is a hallmark of Slovenia.

The next stop on Norman’s global trot was Croatia, with its calming coastal landscape, misty mountains and various valleys, Norman knew he was in for a great day! There are numerous national parks in Croatia such as the Plitvice National Park were Norman paid a visit. This is the largest national park in Croatia and the oldest in all of Southeast Europe. The lakes were an astounding aqua blue and are one of the most incredible things Norman has ever seen. After buying a postcard to send his family, Norman left this wonderful place to visit Kušić Promet Ltd.
