Next stop on Norman’s global trot was to Indonesia Norman makes new friends at InCow Jaya Farm

The next stop on Norman’s global trot was to Indonesia. He was very excited to reach Indonesia as he had heard that there were over 18,000 islands, many of which spoke a variety of languages and had different cultural traditions. Norman spent his morning on Komodo Island; he was amazed by the spectacular scenery and thought that the beaches seemed very romantic because of the pink sand. One of the local men explained that there are few pink sand beaches in the world.

Norman visits New Zealand Norman hanging out in New Zealand

The next stop on Norman’s global trot was New Zealand, where he received a traditional Maori welcome. Galloping out of Auckland’s International Airport, he was ready for some sight seeing and ventured into the City of Sales, Auckland. Norman was very excited when he saw the majestic Waitemata Harbour and galloped across the beautiful Harbour Bridge. He sat here for a moment soaking up the brilliant sunshine and watching all of the yachts sail along the water!

Chile was next on Norman's trot list

Chile was next on Norman's trot list. Unbelievably thin and unreasonably long, Chile stretches from the belly of South America to its foot, reaching from the driest desert on earth to the vast southern glacial fields. Norman was looking forward to experiencing the diverse landscape which stretches over 4,300km, filled with valleys, volcanoes, ancient forests, clear rivers, massive glaciers and fjords. Norman took this opportunity to trek the Andes. When he reached the top he was welcomed by a full 360 degree view of Chile at its finest.

The next stop on Norman’s global trot was Uruguay a country famous for its food, soccer and of course its beaches. The first place Norman went to was the Rocha Coast, a beautiful natural area of Uruguay. Here he trotted along the beach; neighing to people he passed, telling them all about the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. After a morning of exercise and socialising it was time for Norman to cool down and soak his hooves in the shimmering sea.
