Norman has reached France!

Norman has reached France! Norman reaches the Alltech Pavilion!

Norman’s last stop on his global trot was his home country France. The land of wine, cheese, the Eiffel Tower and art such as the Mona Lisa.  As Norman raced into his home country he was surrounded by the beautiful beaches, rolling hills and stunning scenery. The experiences he had gained travelling around the world had been so wonderful, but he was excited to be back just in time for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. However before Norman reunited with his parents he had one last stop to make, in the Cherbourg region.

Next on Normans trot list was Spain. Norman was looking forward to sitting back and basking in the tradition, wealth and diversity of the Spanish plains, while trotting to the some of its UNESCO heritage sites.

Norman trots into Ireland!

Norman trots into Ireland! Ciara Watt and Mary Delaney of Gain Horse Feeds met Norman!

Norman neighed hello to Ireland, a country which he had been especially excited to visit as it is renowned throughout the world for its close connection with the horse industry! Irish sport horses compete successfully at the highest level of every equestrian discipline and have dominated the eventing circuit for many years. Norman passed his morning by galloping through the countryside and seeing Ireland’s historic sites. In Meath he visited the 5,000 year old passage tomb in Newgrange. Norman was amazed by the strong stone structure and the small internal corridors that are still intact.

Norman makes it to the United Kingdom!

Norman’s next stop on his global visit was to the United Kingdom. Famous for Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace and its diverse cultures from all over the world. Norman was amazed at the difference between the bustling cities and the vast tranquillity of the country side. Here horses like Secretariat, Sea Biscuit and Man O’War have gone down in racing history.
