At Alltech, our mission is to improve the health and performance of people, animals and plants through natural nutrition and scientific innovation. Alltech improves health and performance by adding nutritional value to food and feed through its innovative use of yeast fermentation, enzyme technology, algae and nutrigenomics. The company’s pursuit of this mission is guided by its founding ACE principle, our promise that in doing business we have a positive impact on the Animal, the Consumer, and the Environment.
Alltech’s philosophy is based upon four core pillars, supported by the entire global organization and central to all company initiatives:
Education: Invest in education for employees, partners and the next generation, particularly in science and the arts
Innovation: Demonstrate our primacy in science through scientific advancement and research
Application: Practically implement new technologies to provide real-world solutions and benefits
Involvement: Positively contribute to the land, our local communities and fellow man, simply because it’s the right thing to do
Our commitment to these pillars is measured by the achievements of our people in the fields of research, development, education and new product technologies, and the results obtained by our customers worldwide. Alltech’s global presence is reflected in its research and production, including three major Bioscience Centers in the U.S. and Ireland and 32 production facilities strategically located throughout the world.
Alltech is the only privately held company among the top-10 animal health companies in the world. This is a source of competitive advantage, allowing Alltech to stay focused on customer needs, innovation and our core values. This flexibility has also fueled Alltech’s growth, which has been approximately 20-25% annually. The company is approaching $1 billion in sales and is on target to achieve $4 billion by 2016.
